How to Prepare + What to Expect
Class of 2026 – it’s your time to shine!
Senior photos are one of the most exciting parts of your final year. Whether planning a bold, styled shoot or something simple and natural, here are my top tips to help you feel confident and prepared for your big day.
Senior sessions fill up quickly, especially during summer and fall. Booking ahead gives you the best choice of date and location. Want golden hour glow, fall leaves, or city vibes? Let’s lock in the look you love! Please keep in mind I book sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Booking sessions during the week gives us the option to have less crowds to work around.
Bring 2–3 outfits that feel like you. A mix of casual, dressy, and something personal (like a jersey or favorite accessory) adds variety to your gallery.
Pro Tip: Stick to solid colors or soft patterns. Avoid neon tones, loud prints, or big logos – they can distract from you.
Think of it like picture day – but leveled up. A fresh haircut, light makeup, and minimal shine go a long way. Professional hair and makeup is totally optional, but a great confidence boost if you want a polished look.
From downtown alleys to nature trails, your session should reflect your style. I’ll help you choose a location that matches your vision, whether that’s bold, outdoorsy, or something classic.
This is your story – let’s tell it! Bring props that mean something to you: sports gear, instruments, books, even pets. These little details make your photos one-of-a-kind.
Don’t stress about posing or feeling awkward – that’s my job! I’ll guide you naturally so you feel comfortable, confident, and totally yourself.
It’s simple but important – get good rest the night before and drink water. You’ll feel energized, and your skin will look its best for the camera.
Your senior year only happens once – let’s make your session unforgettable.
