I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, whether it was spent with family, friends, or just enjoying some peace and quiet. As we officially head into the winter months, I wanted to take a moment to update you all on my photography schedule and availability.
Winter Bookings: Limited Availability for Outdoor Sessions
As much as I love shooting outdoors—especially in the magical winter snow—winter weather can make things a bit tricky. With the colder temperatures rolling in, my outdoor sessions will be few and far between, and I won’t be booking as much during this time. My equipment isn’t built to handle freezing temperatures (anything below 32°F), so while I do push the limits for those gorgeous snow sessions, it’s not always feasible to shoot in extreme cold.
That said, if you’re hoping to book a last-minute outdoor session on a day when temperatures are a bit more forgiving (teetering around freezing), I will absolutely do my best to fit you in. Just reach out and we’ll see what we can do!
Indoor Sessions: Always Ready for a Creative Challenge!
If you have an indoor location in mind, I’m always up for the challenge! Indoor shoots can be just as special, and I’m happy to collaborate with you on a creative space for your session. So, whether it’s your home, a venue, or even an interesting indoor spot you’ve discovered, let’s make it happen.
Booking Resumes in March
Looking ahead, I plan to restart outdoor bookings around mid-March, depending on the weather. I’ll be keeping an eye on the forecast and will let you know when sessions are available again outdoors.
Mini Sessions? Possibly!
I may also consider offering mini sessions during the winter months if I can find an indoor, heated location that’s perfect for quick, cozy shoots. Stay tuned for more information on this in the coming weeks!
Thanks for your understanding as we move into the winter season. I look forward to capturing beautiful moments, whether in the snow or indoors, and I can’t wait to work with you again soon!
